SALT is dedicated to caring for God’s creation. That means caring for the earth and all of its inhabitants. For us, this is about community and how we care for each other, and about how we care for all God has created. Join us as we actively engage in social justice, with a strong commitment to LGBTQ+ inclusion and advocacy, and creation care. Our vibrant community offers opportunities to connect through worship, small groups, and outreach programs that make a real difference in Wilmington and beyond. Led by Rev. Gayle Tabor, SALT combines traditional Methodist values with modern, relevant approaches to faith.
While SALT is not an acronym, if we were going to make it one, it would mean Serving And Loving Together, because that is who we are and how we want to live.
SALT believes that all of humanity is created in the image of God, therefore we do not draw lines around who is welcome.
Whether you’re seeking a new church home or exploring spirituality for the first time, you are welcome and celebrated at SALT—just as you are. Visit us and experience a community grounded in love, acceptance, and transformation. We are people seeking to know God, to love others, and to know and love ourselves better. We welcome you to join us on this journey to love God, each other, and ourselves better.
