Easter Sunday is almost here, and this year at SALT, it’s not just the culmination of Holy Week—it’s the finale of our Lenten journey, The Resist Series. We’ve spent these weeks naming the forces we resist: injustice, apathy, exclusion, empire. We’ve explored the courage it takes to live as Resurrection people in a Good Friday world. And now, the tomb is empty. The resistance gives way to resurrection.
Join us Sunday, March 20 at 10:24 a.m. as we gather outdoors at The Harbor Pond (4853 Masonboro Loop Rd, Wilmington, NC). Bring a chair, maybe some bug spray, and a heart ready to celebrate.
The Easter story isn’t a fairytale ending—it’s a revolution. The women at the tomb weren’t running from fear, they were running with good news. The powers of empire and death did their worst, and God answered not with vengeance—but with life.
This Easter, we celebrate the truth that still turns the world upside down:
💥 He is risen.
💥 Love wins.
💥 Death doesn’t get the last word.
Let’s finish this series the way we started—with guts, grace, and a whole lot of hope. Come as you are. Bring a friend. Be part of a community that dares to believe resurrection still happens.
