Sunday Morning with The Anchor — October 25!
On Sunday, October 25, SALT is taking worship downtown and joining The Anchor for a morning of community, compassion, and connection.
We’ll gather at 106 S. Water Street on the Wilmington riverfront, where The Anchor regularly serves and worships alongside our unhoused neighbors. It’s a sacred space where church looks a little different—and maybe a little more like Jesus.
Arrive by 8:30 AM to help us get settled and prepare breakfast. We’ll serve breakfast at 8:45 AM, sharing a hot meal around the table with everyone who comes. Then, at 9:00 AM, we’ll worship together—simple, heartfelt, and rooted in grace.
This is more than SALT going somewhere else for worship. It’s about remembering what it means to be the Church. We aren’t showing up to “do ministry” for people. We’re gathering with people—as neighbors, as siblings, as one community.
That’s what SALT is about: showing up, sharing the table, and discovering Christ already present among us.
So grab a warm layer—late October mornings beside the Cape Fear can be chilly—and come ready to serve, eat, sing, pray, and worship.
