Christmas Eve at Harbor: Celebrating Together as One Family
This Christmas Eve, SALT United Methodist will once again join with our friends at Harbor UMC as we gather for a night filled with light, love, and holy anticipation.
We are grateful—deeply grateful—to be part of the Harbor family. Over and over again, we have shared life together: worship, meals, ministries, laughter, questions, and the kind of support that only a true church family can offer. On December 24th, we’ll continue that shared tradition of belonging as we worship side-by-side in Harbor’s main sanctuary.
5:00 PM – Family Christmas Eve Service
This early service is full of delight and movement—perfect for children, kids-at-heart, and anyone who loves the joyful chaos of the Christmas story. Expect carols, the nativity told in ways that draw us in, and a warm welcome to little ones of every age and energy level. At SALT, we believe kids bring life to worship, and this service celebrates exactly that.
7:00 PM – Traditional Candlelight Service
Our 7pm gathering invites us into the wonder of Christmas night with Scripture, song, quiet reverence, and the beauty of candlelight. It is a moment to breathe, to remember why Love came into the world, and to stand together as the light grows—and spreads—through the sanctuary.
Why We Worship Together
SALT has never been a community that believes we must do everything alone. We are part of a larger vision of God’s Church—connected, collaborative, rooted in grace. Worshiping with Harbor is one of the ways we live into that beautiful truth. When we come together, we embody the message of Christmas itself: that God knits us into one family, across difference, across stories, across the beautiful diversity of God’s people.
Harbor has welcomed us with open arms, and we are honored to call their community part of our own.
Join Us This Christmas Eve
Wherever you’re coming from, whatever this season has held for you, we invite you to come as you are. Bring your joy, your grief, your questions, your hope. Bring your family—by birth, by choice, or by community. Come and experience the beauty of Christmas with people who genuinely care.
SALT + Harbor. One church family. One holy night.
Join us in Harbor’s main sanctuary at 5pm or 7pm as we celebrate the birth of Christ together.
