Blue Christmas

We will gather on December 21st, the longest night of the year, with Hope Recovery Church and SALT Inclusive Methodist Community for a Blue Christmas service
Blue Christmas is a contemplative and empathetic gathering, acknowledging the emotional challenges and feelings of sadness or loss that some of us may experience during the holiday season.
The color “blue” symbolizes a sense of melancholy or reflection. Join us in this supportive space for those dealing with grief, loneliness, or difficult circumstances.

We invite you to join us in this service offering solace through music, prayers, and reflections that recognize the complexity of emotions during the festive season.
We’ll begin at 6pm with a simple meal and continue at 7pm with a service. Join in as we foster a sense of understanding and community for those of us who may find traditional celebrations challenging, for a myriad of reasons
